Contafel® | 2716 | Contafel® 2716, from Isovolta Group, consists of polyester and glass fabric impregnated with a special epoxy varnish containing graphite. Contafel® ME 3107 additionally contains a metallic salt (zinc naphthenate) suitable for unaccelerated epoxy resin-systems. Contafel® 2716 and ME 3107 are flexible and elastic, which allows easy taping without wrinkles. The partial discharge resistance is highly improved compared to standard conductive polyester fleece. Therefore Contafel® 2716 and ME 3107 can be used also in applications with high operating field strength. The thin tape allows a space saving design.
